In E1, Chris Hollis (Ballards Motorex Off-Road Racing WR250F) was even more dominating than Strang in E2

, Hollis was in the zone to such an extent that he finished second behind Strang in the scratch (outright) class, and in front of Roberts.

The 21-year-old from Beechwood (NSW) only lowered his colours once in E1, to Shannon Lewry (GHR Racing CRF250X), but the rest of the time he was in the driver's seat.

Hollis' second successive E1 win also saw his dislodge Ben Kearney (Dave Fraser Motorcycles KTM 250SX-F) out of first position - by the smallest possible margin.

Hollis is on 68pts, from Kearney (67) and Jehi Willis (Motorex Shift KTM Off-Road Racing, 62), who debuted the new 250EXC-F with a fourth position at Conondale. Lewry is next on 58pts.
